CRAFTING MENSWEAR THROUGH HERITAGE AND NATURE

Louis Ziebarth-Renaud, founder and designer of Munich based menswear label Maison Rose Collection, whose philosophy is a reflection of his heritage, solitude, and a deep connection to nature. Inspired by his grandfather's closet and the landscapes that surrounded his upbringing, Renaud has created a brand that marries tradition with the demands of today.

Handmade in small, family-owned factories in Bavaria and Lazio, the garments are constructed with a passionate attention to detail. The use of "full canvas" construction — a method once standard in the tailoring world — speaks to Renauds’ dedication to authenticity. The buttons come from a small Bavarian manufacturer, ensuring that every component of his creations is rooted in craftsmanship. Only the finest fabrics are used, sourced from Germany, Austria, Britain, and Italy, all chosen for their durability and luxurious feel.

The garments Renaud’s designs are meant to age alongside the wearer, telling a story over time. Minimalist in their form, they come with practical details that make sense, honoring both simplicity and function. Sustainability is not just a buzzword but a core principle; each piece is long-lasting, fair, and made with care for both the people and the planet.

The rose, a motif central to Renauds' brand, is symbolic of his childhood spent in his grandparents’ garden. He recalls the rose vine they planted 30 years ago, a symbol of resilience and growth. “You can cut a rose, but it will always grow back,” his grandfather once told him — a mantra that now defines both Renauds’ personal and creative journey: the power to regrow, stronger, with every challenge faced. Since 2017, Renaud has been quietly creating, allowing his work to speak for itself — timeless, considered, and ever-evolving.
